Detail: Armed freighter Lothair reports detecting
highly unusual energy readings in open space. Faustus-Class interceptor ‘Terra’s
Prudence’ dispatched from listening post Sigma-9 to investigate.
Reports
returned via astropath report a mass of hundreds, if not thousands, of unknown crescent
shaped ships moving in formation around 12 large vessels each the size of a
small moon. The last message received before contact with Terra’s Prudence was
lost was of a large beam of red lightning sparking towards them.
Small
battle fleet summoned to location to search for Terra’s Prudence and respond to
any threat but find only empty space.
Inquisition officially list incident as first
contact with an unknown Necron force…..
